Body Sculpting

You've been eating healthy and exercising regularly but can't seem to shift those stubborn areas of body fat. If you're looking for a non-surgical solution to feel confident within yourself, Body Sculpting treatments with Fat Cavitation might just be it. Fat Cavitation is becoming increasingly popular throughout beauty salons, and there's a good reason why! Want to know more? We answer some of your most frequently asked questions below

Is Fat Cavitation safe?

Yes! It is a non-invasive, non surgical procedure that requires no recovery time.

What does the Fat Cavitation machine do?

Cavitation machines use high frequency and sound waves that penetrate the skin. Clients will feel a warm sensation with vibration throughout the treated area. The fat cells will be liquified, broken down and excreted naturally by the liver.

Are there any contraindications of Fat Cavitation?

Clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not undertake the procedure. Clients who have conditions such as epilepsy, diabetes, cancer and high blood pressure will also be unsuitable for Fat Cavitation. Any implant devices such as pacemakers or electrical prosthetics are contraindications. Clients who have any active, contagious skin conditions will not be allowed to undergo treatment. A 3 to 6 month wait will be recommended to treat the desired area.

Is there an age limit?

Yes, clients have to be the age of 18 and over to have this treatment done.

What are the side effects of Fat Cavitation?

There are rarely any side effects, sometimes the treated area can have slight redness/irritation, nausea/headache or thirst immediately after which can be resolved by drinking water.

How often should Fat Cavitation be done?

Fat Cavitation can be done every 3-4 days. A course of 6 treatments or more is recommended to be performed depending on the area.

Do’s and Don’ts before and after the treatment

Drinking water at least 2L a day leading up to your appointment is necessary as well as maintaining a low-calorie diet before and after to ensure the energy released is properly utilised. Avoid fatty foods, alcohol and choose healthy, nutritional foods. After the treatment, clients can return to normal daily activities. Exercising for 30 minutes after the treatment is recommended to ensure stored energy from the cavitation process is burnt off. Dry body brushing performed daily will stimulate the skin, prevent fat and toxins from becoming stagnant and encourage overall detoxification.

Is Fat Cavitation Permanent?

Fat Cavitation does have permanent results as it breaks down fatty deposits in your body, however, it doesn’t prevent your body from creating new fat cells. Cavitation shouldn’t be the only tool relied upon as a weight loss solution.

What areas are suitable for the Fat Cavitation?

Cavitation can be performed on any areas that have stored stubborn fat cells such as abdomen, thighs, arms and buttocks. There is no real limitation to what areas the treatment can be performed on.
